This recipe for sweet and sour fish originates from Eastern China.

Ingredients

  • Marinade:

  • 3 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon corn starch combined with two tablespoons water
  • Other:
  • 4 ounces mangetout (snow peas)
  • 1 red bell pepper
  • 1 tablespoon ginger root, finely chopped
  • two tablespoons eco-friendly onions, chopped diagonally
  • two to four cups oil for deep-frying

Preparation
