- 2 cups chicken white meat, ground
- 3 Tablespoons of. carrots, grated
- 3 Tablespoons of. Mexican turnips (singkamas), grated
- ¼ cup garlic clove, minced
- ¼ cup white-colored sugar
- 1-1/2 teaspoon. salt
- 1 teaspoon. pepper, ground
- 2 Tablespoons of. vinegar
- 1 Tablespoons of. soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon. hot sauce (optional)
- 1-1/2 yards pork sausage casing
- ½ cups water
- 2 Tablespoons of. oil
Steps to make Chicken Longganisa with Carrots:
- Inside a bowl mix the chicken white meat, carrots, turnips, garlic clove, sugar, salt, pepper, vinegar, soy sauce and hot sauce.
- Refrigerate overnight. Then fill the casing using the meat mixture to preferred length then tie ends with strings.
- Hang inside a ventilated spot for a couple of hrs then freeze to keep the chicken longganisa.
- To prepare it, inside a deep skillet, place the longganisa and pour half cup water and a pair of Tablespoons of. oil.
- Prick each sausages having a fork to avoid the longganisa from bursting.
- Prepare it before the liquid dries up and begins to sizzle.
- Then fry the longganiza until golden brown.
- Serve with sliced tomato plants.
