Scrumptious! Thanks. A lot better than my mother’s. I snuck inside a bag of baby green spinach and set in 1 T of Worcestershireno tabasco. Wound up cooking it almost double the amount time. The beans were very slow. You've made my hubby happy today!
This really is my visit recipe for pork and bean soup. It’s very easy and filled with flavor with little effort! We like it. Thanks!
This recipe is among my hubby’s favorites. The only real factor I actually do differently is for the finish from the cooking I give a can of diced tomato and provide raw diced onions in the side when serving. I have not used the slow oven with this recipe however i use my pressure oven.
My mother made white-colored beans and only pork or bacon. She used great northern beans. We'd this every Monday as which was her wash day(laundry). Lol. Together with homemade biscuits or corn bread. This was a easy meal on her. It may be cooking as she finished the wash. Sampled so great.
I chose to make this two occasions before and both occasions it arrived on the scene awesome! Certainly enjoyed the new sauce! Yesterday I managed to get for that third time, again with smoked pork hocks. This time around it had been soooooo salty. What did I actually do wrong. BTW, I didn't add any salt.
