Method
- Add some linguine to some pan of boiling salted water and prepare based on packet instructions.
- Meanwhile, place a large fry pan on the high temperature and give a couple of good lugs of essential olive oil. Once hot, add some garlic clove, chilli, capers and parsley stalks. Prepare for a few minutes until just beginning to colour. Add some sardines strips towards the pan and prepare for just two minutes. They will begin to split up but don’t worry. Add some tomato plants and squeeze within the juice of the lemon.
- Use tongs to transfer the cooked linguine into the fry pan, getting a bit of the cooking water by using it. Add some butter, if using, and toss everything together within the pan. Possess a taste, season with pepper and salt, add the majority of the parsley leaves along with a lug of additional virgin essential olive oil. Mix again – use tongs if you want to – then transfer to some large platter. Scatter within the remaining parsley leaves and whack it within the center on the table so everybody can tuck straight in.
