So great. I performed using the recipe slightly (when i always use both any type of chili with any raw recipe- which means this was double the amount fun-lol) I acquired ideas using their company raw chili recipes I have encounter and merely put them in too at whims. noticably within my adventure was adding a little bit of cacao powder, shrooms (LOTS), nutmeg, cinnamon, garlic clove (LOTS). a little bit of agave. some in demand pepper flakes (from the dehydrated garden peppers :) )ummmmm some onion and prob. more. ). and that i mixed some walnuts in along with the almonds. I made use of the rest of the recommended spices and ingredients but maybe was a little more heavy handed about this Because I made in regards to a batch . 5 or even more and used a mixer (taste, mix and pulse method). oh the tomato plants I made use of were cherry. several things I left chopped rough along with other a few things i processed the heckle from then hands mixing last bits for texture contrasts. it had been an excellent focus of my New Years '09 feast (and like several chili super tasty leftovers too. )..offered with raw crackers (my very own wheat/rye and seed mix) along with a heaping bowl of lentil and alfalfa sprouts to top sammies or bowls with. I loved this recipe because It was more approachable than lots of raw chillies >. super yummy. fun and easy and most joyful Happy Year time. )
It was absolutely scrumptious and incredibly simple to make. I mad a couple of changes with the addition of garlic clove (lots, I love garlic clove) and halving the avocado and nuts to really make it a bit more low cal. Also, I sub'd cashews for almonds because that is what I'd on hands. I am a new comer to raw food cooking and need I understood more recipes such as this as opposed to the complex ones I've found within my raw cookbooks.
It was fun to test, simple to make, scrumptious, and healthy! The only real changes I made would give a clove of garlic clove and to utilize a whole jalapeno. It is good to understand that raw food is not all salads and fruits. This designed a hearty meal with a few Go Raw brand flax crackers. Thank you for posting.
