Hi, many thanks for writing this recipe! Though while studying it, I'd several questions. What's the texture from the pork belly skin once it’s been roasted? Could it be crispy or does it more soft? Should i turn the pork belly (from skin as much as skin lower) although it’s roasting?
Hi Annie, roast the meat skin side up. Your skin is going to be crispy, but certainly less crispy as our Cantonese Roasted Pork (thewoksoflife.com/2015/03/cantonese-roast-pork-belly/ ) recipe. If you would like your skin to become crunchy just like a potato nick, try the Cantonese Roasted Pork Belly. Additionally, it has five-spice.

Hello! This is a overview of my knowledge about Roast Pork with Five Spice. I'd have loved the pork belly, but we'd to create due with pork butt. Componen boil and rub were nice, sitting in fridgie. I roasted on rack over silverfoil for 30 min 375 after which switched it lower to 350 to complete another 40 min. It needed it, since there would be a bone in, and also the meat was at a sizable piece. The taste, I believe might have gone in to the meat better having a flatter cut just like a pork belly. Also, the meat was screaming for skin!
I cut very thin slices, that have been not totally juicy, although not bad, a minimum of these were chewable. Our organization all stated it had been delish.
I made the noodles with mushroom, but my sauce was watery, even with many different corn starch. I added a stalk chop up bit of broccoli, and fresh garlic clove towards the mince veg.
Analysis: have that Pork butt! 5 spice is powerful. Let meat sit after cooking is ideal. I do dish again, but will need to find pork belly. Would you recommend noodles for that noodle dish, spaghetti only agreed to be so, spaghetti-ant.
