cooking spray 1 2/3 cups warm (105-110F) water 1 1/two tablespoons honey 2 1/4 teaspoons active dry yeast 5 1/2 cups unbleached, all-purpose bread flour, divided 1/2 cup nonfat dry powdered milk 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, at 70 degrees 2 teaspoons salt
Place tepid to warm water, honey, and yeast within the Cuisinart mixing bowl. Let stand five to ten minutes until mixture is foamy and bubbly. While yeast is proofing, combine 4 1/2 cups bread flour with powdered milk and salt. Add some flour mixture towards the yeast mixture using the unsalted butter. Insert the dough hook and blend on speed 2 for just two minutes. Ongoing on speed 2, add some remaining flour one tablespoon at any given time until a dough ball forms that clings towards the dough hook and cleans the edges from the bowl. Set the timer for 4 minutes and also the speed to three to permit the dough to knead. Transfer the dough to some clean bowl, cover with plastic wrap and let increase in a hot, draft-free place until volume is bending.
Gently coat two 8x4x3-inch loaf pans with unsalted butter or cooking spray. Punch dough to deflate. Divide into 2 equal portions. Shape into loaves and put in prepared pans. Cover and let rise until nearly bending. About fifteen minutes before baking, preheat oven to 375F. Place loaves in preheated oven and bake for 35 to 40 minutes, until break is browned and sounds hollow when drawn on. Remove from loaf pans and awesome on the wire rack. Bread slices best when permitted to awesome completely before cutting. If surface of bread is simply too crispy for the taste, brush with butter for any softer crust.
Servings: Makes two loaves, about 18 ounces each
