Ingredients

  • Dressing/marinade
  • 1/2 of the medium size pineapple
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/3 cup soy sauce
  • 1/3 toasted sesame oil (or sesame oil)
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger root, grated
  • 2 cloves garlic clove, grated
  • 1 teaspoon wasabi powder (optional)
  • 4 eco-friendly onions, sliced, plus much more for garnish
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
  • Honey Glaze
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1 teaspoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoons toasted sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon sesame seeds
  • 1/2 teaspoon wasabi powder (optional)

Instructions

Prepare the grain based on package directions.

In a tiny bowl or glass calculating cup combine the honey, soy sauce, toasted sesame oil, ginger root, garlic clove and wasabi powder (if using). Whisk before the wasabi powder has dissolved and add some eco-friendly onions and sesame seeds. Put the salmon inside a ziplock bag and add about 1/4 from the dressing. Reserve the remain dressing. Put the salmon within the fridge for around half an hour.
