I still had some beer within the fridge in the Beer-B-Q chicken we designed for Labor Day, and so i made the decision to test another beer marinated chicken. I chose to make this marinade an Italian marinade with a lot of garlic clove and Italian seasoning. My personal favorite flavors!
I allow the chicken marinate overnight to obtain maximum flavor within the chicken. A fast tip on grilling chicken - pound the chicken for an even thickness before marinating. It truly helps the chicken prepare evenly and never dry up.
As you can tell, we grilled lots of chicken. We ate it for supper all week. It had been super tasty! It had been really juicy and filled with flavor. Both of us gave this chicken two thumbs up!
- 12 oz beer
- 6 Tablespoons of fresh lemon juice
- 2 Tablespoons of essential olive oil
- 2 Tablespoons of Italian seasoning
- 6 garlic clove cloves, minced
- 2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon red pepper cayenne
- 2-3 lb boneless chicken
Whisk together beer, fresh lemon juice, essential olive oil, Italian seasoning, garlic clove, salt, pepper and cayenne. Pour over chicken and refrigerate a couple of hrs as much as overnight.
Remove chicken from marinade and grill until done, roughly 12-fifteen minutes.
