[Updated April 2015] The caf trend in Singapore remains waffles with frozen treats, without any under 20 new cafes in Singapore serving this mixture.
The Creamier effect? In the past, we'd Udders. Island Creamery. The Daily Scoop. Tom’s Palette and Alfero Artisan Gelato who had a loyal following.
The later times of Stateland Caf, Hatter Street, Waffle Slayer which spouted hipster (it’s this type of ‘bad’ word now) type cafes specialising in American or Belgian style buttermilk waffles capped with home-made frozen treats.
Listed here are 20 new places to fulfill your waffles and frozen treats cravings!

If you're the kind who finds the conventional round waffles too large and filling to have an after meal dessert, Rabbit Owl Depot’s Snow Flake Waffle ($6.50, $9.50 with frozen treats) could win your heart over.
The crispy and brown fringe of the Snowflake Waffle, spread with smooth frozen treats (obtain the coconut frozen treats.) would be a wonderful combination that may send a grin on the lazy mid-day. Easily certainly one of my favourites waffles around. (Read: Rabbit Owl Depot )
Sunday Folks
44 Jalan Merah Saga, #01-52, Nick Bee Gardens
Opening Hrs: 4pm – 10pm (Tues-Comes to an end), 12pm -10pm (Sitting-Sun). Closed Mon
Sunday Folks won the instagram waffles competition, if there's any, hands lower. Soft serve on waffle Pretty max, but melts too quickly.
The freshly baked Belgian waffles ($8.80 for single waffle with frozen treats, $11.80 for double) take a minimum of fifteen minutes during non-peak hrs, supported by bananas and particularly drizzled with walnut syrup and chocolate hazelnut sauce. I favor this towards the original Creamier at Toa Payoh.

Tel: +65 64400971
Opening Hrs: 12pm – 10pm Daily. Closed Tues
While Singapore is perpetuated with frozen treats of this certain creamy type, The Hideout’s classic gelato texture with local flavours is appealing. Dense, smooth and velvety. Around the flipside, I wanted they might opt for a minimum of 20% less sugar.
Their buttermilk waffles would please individuals preferring a crisp surface, having a more dark finish, much better than some popular cafes with never-ending weekend queues. (Read: The Hideout )

Its peanut butter waffles “The Hippie” ($15.90) capped with fresh blueberry slices, crushed peanuts, salted caramel gelato and organic (yes, organic!) walnut syrup, appears like one of the most promising waffle to test. (Read: Makeover Coffee shop )
The Milky Way Homemade Frozen Treats and occasional
Blk 48 Tanglin Halt Road Singapore 142048 (Commonwealth MRT)
Opening Hrs: 12pm – 10pm (Sun- Thursday night), 12pm-12am (Comes to an end-Sitting)
Campus Superstar Alumni Renfred Ng has went from singing to frozen treats making, the owner behind The Milky Way Homemade Frozen Treats and occasional at Tanglin Halt.
Waffles ($5.00, add $3 for 1 scoop of standard frozen treats) are available in half and half, crisp around the outdoors and fluffy enough. The Milky Way presented their own in different ways from the rest, and that i personally discover the portion more manageable. Pistachio frozen treats is among their finest sellers. Seriously = Healthy. Their frozen treats has a lot less sugar, incidents where sugarless. It is possible. Try the frozen treats flavours prior to making you buy the car decision. Many will suit your needs, some might not.
The feel of the version ($4.50 for plain, $9.60 with 2 scoops) advised us from the biscuit accustomed to sandwich old-school frozen treats. This light, crispy waffle with a lot of air pockets could attract the 30-something and above (*cough cough*) who'd this familiar taste before. Savoury waffles can also be found. Twenty Grammes is the perfect weight of coffee grounds to drag a great espresso shot, as well as the name of the new Frozen Treats Waffles Caf at North Bridge Road.
I loved both frozen treats flavours selected – Boysenberry (berry based) and Honey-Scotch (honey flavoured with crispy butterscotch). The feel belonged towards the creamier and dense type, and tilted more towards the sweet side. Waffles was okay. (Read: Twenty Grammes )

Photography shop meets frozen treats caf. Frozen treats texture was smooth and likeable – not very sweet, rectangular butter waffles includes a crisp surface, produced from the homemade recipe.
I particularly loved the Pistachio, among the best I'd, having a strong nutty flavour and that i learnt the pistachios were air traveled from Bronte Sicily. Hazelnut (nuts air traveled from Piedmont) and Dark Truffle Chocolate were other two suggested. (Read: 5 The Moments Tanjong Pagar )

Hmm&... Flower Waffles. Their Blossom Waffle forms individual Hearts when split in 4 pieces, Ice-Cream Cones when split in 8 pieces. Gelato flavours ranged from Nuts In Regards To You (Hazelnut), Chocolate Valrhona, Pistachio to Fior di Latte, which sampled like our daily cup of fresh milk. Real fruits were utilized in their sorbets with flavours for example Mango, Lemon, Blueberry, Passionfruit towards the interesting “You Can’t Guess This” Cherry Tomato. (Read:

Their Signature Gelato Waffle comes with as many as 2 scoops of gelato of your liking ($14 for single, $18.50 for double). Looks-wise, it had been virtually identical to the other 2 outlets using their signature cacao powder dusted emblem around the plate. We required a dual-undertake its cost, a little bit greater than other frozen treats waffles on the market.
Gelato flavours available ranged from fruits (strawberry and rock melon) to chocolate (ferrero rocher, peanut bar) and alcoholic ones (lychee martini, champagne vanilla). (Read: Chapter 55 Tiong Bahru )

The gula melaka flavour frozen treats was thick and creamy with distinct palm sugar taste. It might be best to tone lower the sweetness with a notch, whereas the lavender flavour were built with a distinct floral scent and refreshing taste. (Read: Bunny and Pony Changi Village )
Montana Brew Bar
1 Selegie Road #01-04, Singapore 188306 (10 min walk from Dhoby Ghaut MRT)
Tel: +65 98331790
Montana Brew Bar easily found at POMO described itself being an “urban chic coffee brew bar”. Chocolate Blueberry Waffles ($10.50) was the typical best seller. I am talking about chocolate + caramelised bananas may go no wrong. We attempted the Waffles Suzette ($9.50) with orange compote, caramelised orange, vanilla frozen treats, but much preferred the chocolate version because of its softer texture. Oh, are we pointed out their gorgeous Red Velvet Waffles Stack ($10.50) yet?
Note: No frozen treats offered here, but there’s always Nookie Yogurt nearby. (Read: Montana Brew Bar POMO ).
