
INGREDIENTS:
- 1 cup mixed associated with a lentils & split peas
- 3 tablespoons mild yellow curry powder*
- teaspoon Turmeric
- Salt to taste (optional)
- 4 cloves garlic clove*
- 1 teaspoon oregano
- 1 cup of mixed veggies of preference (I made use of frozen mixture of corn, peas, carrots and eco-friendly beans)
- cup brown grain
An easy and wholesome legumes dish which will tickle your senses with curry and aromatic spices. 55 minutes prepare time – though only 3 minutes set-up!
In a single pot bring 5 glasses of water to some boil. Add 1 cup mixed lentils split peas.
Add spices and sliced up garlic clove (don’t add some mixed veggies yet). Prepare for 50 minutes on the medium flame.
Inside a separate pot, bring 1 and glasses of water to some boil. Add cup of brown grain. Prepare the grain until water is absorbed on the medium flame. Never mix grain during cooking.
Add some frozen veggies towards the lentils and peas and prepare for the next a few minutes or before the the frozen veggies are equally hot because the lentils and peas.
*Use mild curry powder and garlic clove to taste.
Serve the lentils and peas capped using the brown grain.
