One-Step High Protein Meal
By Dennis B. Weis
Steve "Tower" Henneberry, a star around the former "American Gladiators" television program, applies to peak performance in the kitchen area by preparing what he calls One-Step High-Protein Meals. Certainly one of his all-time favorites is known as G.L.O.P. (Get Plenty of Protein). Here's his jealously guarded, almost secret recipe for G.L.O.P.
16 oz. fat-free ground poultry breast
1 boil-in-bag (Kraft, Success, Uncle Ben's) instant lengthy-grain brown grain packages
16 oz. jar picante sauce (mild, medium, or hot)
8 oz. low-fat cottage type cheese (small curd)
Non-stick cooking spray (optional)
° Preheat range-top element on medium/medium high for five minutes.
° Grease within an unheated large non-stick skillet having a quick use of non-stick cooking spray.
° Place the ground poultry meat in to the skillet and fry on medium/medium high, stirring from time to time having a wooden spoon, before the meat is uniformly golden brown (no more pink). Don't overcook the meat it may lose moisture and be rubbery.
° 1 minute approximately prior to the meat is completed browning, stir within the picante sauce. Turn heat to some low setting and allow the meat simmer in order that it accumulates the taste from the sauce.
° As the ground poultry is cooking, prepare tow boil-in-bag brown grain packages based on range top or microwave instructions. Time the cooking from the grain to coincide using the poultry.
° Take away the skillet in the range top once the meat is completed browning, and scoop the contents right into a large Pyrex-type glass bowl. Next add some cooked grain, then your cottage type cheese, and stir the components gently using the wooden spoon (don't overstir).
° When the G.L.O.P. is not likely to be eaten immediately, you are able to store it inside a plastic container with lid within the refrigerator overnight.
° G.L.O.P. tastes nearly as good cold as when just cooked, so place a container from it inside your cooler and eat it as being meals at 2:00 or 6:00 PM, or even more sparingly in an Hourly Protein Pump (Feeding) throughout the NODBS. (Neural Eventually Blitz System) as detailed within my Special Big Arms eReport.
° When you are awaiting the poultry and grain to complete cooking, constitute a Muscle Shake. Pour 16 ounces of cold sterilized water (not spring or ionized) right into a blender. Add one packet of MET-Rx original vanilla drink mix (Steve Henneberry's favorite) and 2 packets of Equal° Sweetener. Blend the contents, adding ice if preferred for any frosty taste. Blend for roughly 45 seconds. When finished, pour muscle shake into a suitable container and store it within the refrigerator if you're not likely to drink it immediately. If you are likely to drink it immediately, pour it right into a pre-chilled (twenty minutes within the freezer) consuming glass. Give a sprig of parsley along with a slice of orange quietly.
° Use a wok rather of the skillet to prepare the poultry meal.
° You should use ground poultry breast for tacos, burgers, meatloaf, etc.
° Use a grain steamer as opposed to the boil-in-bag to cook brown grain.
