Ingredients:
- 1 cup Grain Rava (see notes)
- 2 cups Water
- Big lemon sized Tamarind ball
- 3 Eco-friendly chillies, medium-sized or when needed
- 3 Dried Red Chillies
- 1 teaspoon Mustard Seeds
- 1 tablespoons of Chana Dal
- 1 tablespoons of Urad Dal
- 2 tablespoons of Peanuts
- 1/2 teaspoon Turmeric Powder
- 1/8 teaspoon Hing
- 2 Sprigs Curry Leaves
- 3 tablespoons of + 1 teaspoon Oil
- Salt to taste
Instructions:
- Soak the tamarind in water for sometime. Squeeze the extract from it and hang aside.
- Bring 2 cups to some moving boil inside a heavy bottomed vessel.
- Give a teaspoon of oil into it.
- Lessen the flame to low and add grain rava into it.
- Cover the vessel having a lid and allow it to prepare on the low flame until done.
- Continue stirring from time to time.
- Switch off the flame and allow it to sit for a few minutes.
- Spread the cooked grain rava on the wide plate and allow it to awesome completely.
- Heat oil inside a pan.
- Add some mustard seeds, chana dal, urad dal and peanuts and allow them to splutter.
- Fry them until golden brown color.
- Add some slit eco-friendly chillies, red chillies, curry leaves and hing and fry for any couple of seconds.
- Adding the tamarind extract and turmeric into it.
- Prepare the mix until oil will get separates. Switch off heat.
- Combine the cooked grain rava, salt and cooked tamarind mixture well.
- Serve!.
- To organize grain rava, wash and soak the raw grain for fifteen minutes. Drain it entirely and spread on the paper or cloth to dry them completely. Coarsely grind the grain inside a mixer after which sieve it.
