"> I purchased some cookie cutters after i visited Portland, OR. They where wildlife cut-outs. So cute. and so i desired to make Easter time cookies in my husband. I researched a recipe for Easter time cookies..I saw a recipe some somewhere, but tend to not think it is.
Making this things i made.
They taste great. My hubby commented "The moose cookie is actually good, although not just like a moose roast."
"Relating To This RECIPE"
"The dough is definitely an absolute dream to utilize, it rolls out easily and it is simple to handle, also cookies hold their shape when baked.
The cookies should be completely cooled before icing. Plan in advance because the dough should be chilled not less than 2 hrs before moving.
As these are capped with icing they aren't a sweet cookie if you prefer a sweeter taste then boost the sugar amount."

Bake for 4-6 minutes. (Used to do 6 minutes)
Remove cookies to wire racks to awesome completely before icing.
ICING:
In a tiny bowl mix the powdered sugar with milk (begin with one or two tablespoons, you will probably require more milk for that perfect distributing consistency).
Beat in corn syrup along with a little vanilla before the icing is smooth and glossy (when the icing is simply too thick include a tiny bit of more corn syrup).
Divide into as numerous separate bowls as you want to various colors.
Include food coloring until preferred intensity is achieved.
Discomfort the icing within the cookies utilizing a brush,or dip edges of cookies into icing.
Wash brush before altering colors.
Let it focused on waxed paper.
Decorate as you would like.
I desired two batches of frosting of these cookies.
The 2nd batch of frosting, I didn't sift the powdered sugar making just a little stiffer frosting for decorating the cookies.
