I'm always looking for quick snacks for that holidays especially no-bake treats. This recipe comes from my Mother. She made these for Thanksgiving and everybody loved them! They're great by themselves, but they're also great crumbled up over soups and salads. We have even offered all of them pasta dishes rather of garlic clove bread. I believe they'd be also good having a cheese ball or other dips you may serve. I have already designed a batch to possess at our home for that holidays. I intend on serving these at our approaching Holiday party!
These crackers possess a kick in the red pepper cayenne. I have built them into with 1/2 tablespoon of cayenne with an entire tablespoon of cayenne. The batch with 1/2 tablespoon of cayenne were very mild. I did not taste any heat. I kicked in the cayenne around the second batch to some whole tablespoon. We did not think these were excessively spicy, but certainly adjust the quantity of cayenne for your personal taste.
- 1 box Saltine crackers
- 1 (1oz) package Ranch dressing mix
- 1/2 to at least one Tablespoons of red pepper cayenne
- 1 1/2 cups canola oil
Combine Ranch, red pepper cayenne and oil. Pour over crackers. Toss crackers every a few minutes for around twenty minutes, until all crackers are coated and there's forget about oil mixture at the end from the bowl. Store inside a ziplock bag.
