Marinara Sauce
Eggs in Purgatory are eggs poached in Marinara Sauce.
Break eggs individually into hot Marinara Sauce. When eggs are firm, remove in the sauce. Serve using the sauce. Sprinkle or grate some Mozzarella cheese over eggs.
1 (#303) can peeled tomato plants
3 tablespoons of. essential olive oil or vegetable oil
1 sm. onion, cut fine
1 clove garlic clove, chopped
2 tablespoons of. parsley, chopped
1/2 teaspoon. oregano
2 tablespoons of. grated cheese (pretty much)
Heat oil inside a shallow saucepan on the slow fire. Saute onions a couple of minutes until translucent. Add garlic clove. When garlic clove is slightly golden colored add parsley. Shake pan and saute a couple of seconds, add tomato plants. Turn turn on and produce to some simmer. Add salt, pepper and sugar. Adjust fire and simmer for forty to fifty minutes or until tomato plants have sweetened. Add oregano towards the sauce the final couple of minutes of cooking to avoid it from becoming bitter. Tomato plants ought to be damaged using the hands, or run slightly within the blender to ensure that pulp remains and never pureed.
