We actually enjoyed reading this dish! Like Roosie, I'd never cooked with five spice powder before (and that i would let it rest out), but because of her suggestion I left it in, and i'm glad Used to do. I bending the recipe and minced 12 cloves of garlic clove within my small mixer. I made use of both brown onion, and that i sprinkled chopped eco-friendly onions on the top if this ended. I did not think it is too salty it had been perfect. I additionally loved the way the sauce glazed up pretty rapidly. I cooked it longer to try and prepare the garlic clove a little. I offered it with white-colored grain and roasted sesame broccoli. Thanks Sue L!
This is actually tasty! My 'glaze' became much more of a sauce, since i added a lot of veggies (peppers, broccoli, and peas). And So I used corn starch to really make it a thicker sauce. Overall, a very simple to make dish that's tasty!
This had great flavor and that i'll allow it to be again. Loved it had become so easily making with (mostly) a few things i had on hands. I'm not keen on five spice powder and so i didn't have. (I added some fresh ground pepper and cinnamon rather.) However the reason I didn't provide five stars is it was too salty for all of us. Still scrumptious though. Thanks.
