Ingredients:
- 250 gms cottage type cheese (paneer)
- 3 teaspoon cornflour
- 2 teaspoon garlic clove paste
- 2 teaspoon ginger root paste
- 3-4 eco-friendly chillies reduce slices
- 1 capsicum reduce slices
- 1 onion reduce slices
- 1 cup spring onions (eco-friendly part only) finely chopped
- 1 small carrot reduce slices
- 1 teaspoon dark soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon red chilli sauce
- 1/4 teaspoon ajinomoto
- 1/2 teaspoon white-colored pepper powder
- 1/2 teaspoon crushed black peppercorns
- 1/2 teaspoon vinegar
- Salt to taste
- Oil for frying
- Cut the paneer into square pieces.
- Inside a bowl add 2 teaspoon cornflour, 1 teaspoon ginger root paste, 1 teaspoon garlic clove paste, crushed pepper, salt along with a pinch of red chilli sauce. Mix well. Create a thick batter.
- Go ahead and take paneer pieces, dip inside a batter and deep fry one at a time in sufficient oil.
- Fry until paneer turns golden colored and put the fried paneer on tissue paper.
- Warm up a wok, add 2 teaspoon oil, because the oil heats, add remaining ginger root garlic clove paste and eco-friendly chillies. Saute for any minute.
- Add slices of onion, carrot and capsicum.
- Add salt, ajinomoto, white-colored pepper powder, soy sauce, red chilli sauce. Toss and blend immediately.
- Add 1 teaspoon cornflour diluted in 1/2 cup water and blend well. Prepare up until the sauce thickens.
- Now add fried paneer pieces and blend well.
- Add vinegar and spring onions (eco-friendly part).
- Prepare for just two minutes on low flame.
- Paneer Manchurian is able to serve with Chinese fried grain or Schezwan fried grain.
Chef Tips:
- If you would like more gravy inside it adding a couple of glasses of water.
- Mix the cornflour very gradually and stirring not to obtain the protuberances in gravy.
