You've got to be acquainted with the flavour of Sarso Ka Saag, but maybe you have attempted Chana ka Saag in your own home? To nibble on Channa Saag with makka roti or wheat flour roti or bajra flour roti in winters.

Ingredients for Chana ka Saag
Channa leaves - 250 gms.
Makka or Bjara flour - 1 table spoon.
Eco-friendly chilli - 2-3

Tomato - 2
Oil or ghee - 1 table spoon.
Heeng - 1-2 pinch.
Cumin seeds - 1/2 desert spoon.
Salt - 3/4 desert spoon ( or based on the taste)
Red chilli powder - 1/4 desert spoon (optional)
Garam masala - 1/4 desert spoon.
Method - Steps to make Chana ka saag
Wash the leaves and separate the comes from them. Remove the soft leaves in the bunch to help make the recipe. Neat and wash the leaves two times with freshwater. Have them on the tilted plate to ensure that all of the water strains away. Now chop the leaves.
Wash the tomato plants and reduce big pieces. Wash the eco-friendly chilli and separate the comes from them. Peel and wash the ginger root and reduce big pieces.
Have a pan full of 1 cup water and set the chopped leaves in it. Keep your pan around the stove. Prepare the leaves with water til they turn tender. Now take another bowl and blend makka or bajra flour in1 cup water and blend well. Put this mix in to the pan when the leaves become soft. When the recipe turns too thick adding a bit more water into it. Put salt and red chilli powder in to the pan and blend well. Stir the recipe continuously once it stars to boil. Prepare the recipe on low flame for 8-ten minutes. The saag is prepared.
Have a small pan as well as heat ghee or oil in it. Put heeng, cumin seeds in to the pan and allow them to splutter. Now add eco-friendly chilli, ginger root and tomato in it and roast them well. Roast the tomato till it become soft after which add some cooked saag in it. Mix them well and prepare it for some time. Now put garam masala in it and blend well.
Channa Ka Saag is prepared. Serve the new and fresh channa ka Saag with makki roti or bajra roti together with jaggery to boost the flavour.
