2 teaspoon coriander powder
1 teaspoon red chilli powder
1 teaspoon turmeric powder
oil to fry
5 -6 bitter gourd
salt to taste
2 medium-sized onions
1 teaspoon dry mango powder
Steps to make karela masaledar :
- Remove and reserve the scrapings from the karelas.
- Provide a slit somewhere and take all of the seeds.
- Cut karelas into thin slices.
- Wash and rub two table spoons salt all around the karelas and it is scrapings.
- Put aside for several-4 hrs.
- Wash completely again and squeeze dry the karelas.
- Warm up oil in kadhai.
- Deep fry the cut karelas till brownish and crisp.
- Remove the karelas and aside.
- Slice onions.
- Warm up 3 tblsp of oil inside a kadai.
- Add cut onions.
- Stir fry for several-4 minutes till they're transluscent.
- Add scrappings of karela and allow it to stir fry till onions really are a little brown.
- Add turmeric powder, coriander powder, dry mango powder and red chilli powder.
- Add the fried karelas towards the above mixture and stir fry covered on low warm up for five-6 minutes.
- Add salt as needed.
- Serve hot with chappatis.
