Puding Roti Berkuah Kastard

Sabtu, ada BERSIH. Encik abang pula dikerah untuk bekerja oleh syarikatnya separuh hari. Pagi-pagi harmoni saya sudah bangun seperti biasa menyiapkan sarapan dan menggosok baju.

Kemudian selepas encik abang ke tempat kerja, saya mengemas, memBERSIHkan rumah. Haishhh&...terasa pula bosan seorang diri kan? Kemudian apa lagi saya membikin apam yogurt kukus. Memang tahap rajin membuat apam memang menggebu-gebu. Rajin benar saya ya. Terima kasih tak terhingga kepada encik abang kerana pemukul telur yang saya idam-idamkan akhirnya ada di hadapan mata! Ini yang buat saya lagi gebu dan rajin membuat kek dan mapin. Gambar nanti saya kongsikan kelak ya. Resipi? Juga akan saya kongsi. Sebenarnya resipi apam yogurt kukus ini banyak sudah dipublish di blog-blog memasak yang popular. Paling penting, apam yang saya buat merekah dan memang tersenyum-senyum.

Okey, hari ini saya mahu masukkan resipi ini dahulu. Puding roti berkuah kastard. Tasty-tasty rasanya !


Ahad pagi, selepas bersarapan bersama encik abang, kami membawa diri ke IKEA dan berjalan-jalan di The Bend. Bau buku di Miles per hour sahaja sudah buat saya menikmati hadaman paling terbaik. Memang terapi yang berkesan untuk diri.

Pulang ke rumah lewat jam 6.30 petang. Tak rasa kaki kebas lagikah Mardihah? Sudahlah merayau satu dunia di IKEA, kemudian The Bend dan Ikano. Wah, wah! Saya terpandangkan roti gardenia yang berbaki 10 keping. Siapa mahu habiskannya? Tarikh tamat riwayat bakal bertemu beberapa hari lagi. Bahan-bahan sudah tersedia saya beli. Dalam tempoh satu jam akhirnya puding roti saya siap! Membakar sebelum solat maghrib berjemaah dan puding siap sedia selepas isyak!

Ke mana tidak tumpahnya kuah jika tidak ke nasi bukan? Ececece! Maka, bakat memasak yang semua wanita ada gunakanlah sebaik-baiknya. Rajinkan diri ya Mardihah! Encik abang kata amat sedap! Maka cubaan pertama yang berjaya!

Bolehlah ditaburkan dengan coklat cip atau kismis sebagai hiasan ya!

10 keping roti
500 ml susu segar
4 sudu besar gula halus
2 sudu butter - dicairkan
2 biji telur
1 sudu esen vanilla
coklat cip

Untuk Sos Kastard

1 tin susu cair
2 sudu besar tepung kastard
2 sudu besar gula

1. Koyakkan roti dan susun dalam loyang yang telah digris dengan sedikit butter.
2. Gaul rata bahan-bahan bertanda * dengan whisk dan tuang ke atas roti tadi.
3. Biarkan sebentar dalam 20-30min agar roti terendam sepenuhnya.
4. Taburkan coklat cip lapisan pertama dan diatas adunan.
5. Bakar pada suhu 180 C selama 30 minit atau sehingga masak.

Amacam? sedap bukan? rasa dia meleleh air liur sebab ada coklat cip yang melekat-lekat dalam mulut. Mahu pengsan sebab tak sangka saya pandai masak. Ha ha ha!
