
Mint raita recipe (Pudina raita) flavorful, refreshing and cooling raita recipe produced from yogurt, mint leaves and usual spices. Perfect raita recipe for summer time season.
I've added chopped red onions here to provide some texture and style of the raita. And spices I have tried personally are typical raita spices which you may get in every raita recipe.
For one variation, try adding cup of cilantro leaves in below recipe while grinding. You'll have scrumptious coriander mint raita.

Ingredients:
Mint leaves cup, loosely packed
Eco-friendly chili 1 in order to taste
Plain yogurt 1 cups
Black salt (Kala namak) teaspoon
Pepper powder teaspoon
Roasted cumin powder teaspoon
Sugar teaspoon, optional
Salt to taste
Onion cup, finely chopped
Steps to make mint raita (Step-by-step Recipe with Photos):
1) Take mint leaves and eco-friendly chili in to the blender or grinder. Add handful of spoons of yogurt making smooth paste from it.
4) Now add all of the spices (black salt, roasted cumin powder, pepper powder) together with salt and sugar. Again mix well till things are incorporated well.
6) Stir well. Raita is able to serve.
For those who have used chilled yogurt you'll be able to serve immediately. Otherwise using chilled yogurt then retain in refrigerator for 1-2 hrs to relax after which serve.
