
It does not look so bad, will it? Well, trust us. It had been. Just a little cooking by feel experiment went horribly wrong yesterday.
We'd some eggplant, olives, lemons and tahini within the fridge, therefore we thought we'd make an impromptu baba ghanoush-ant spread to use some Ak Mak crackers we'd within the cabinet.
The issue was, we did not have enough time or energy to roast the eggplant, that is a fundamental requirement of baba ghanoush. We made the decision to microwave it until it had been soft, then place it within the mixer with all of those other ingredients. We all know, just writing it now causes us to be cringe, too.
You know what? Microwaved eggplant isn't good. The dip had zero flavor, unless of course you count the bitter, soapy taste of raw eggplant doused with salt.
We allow it to sit within the mixer to have an hour approximately, wondering when we could transform it into another thing. We all do hate down the sink food. but eventually we simply put it.
