When I was causeing this to be scrumptious pancake creation I figured to myself&... why haven’t I made these so far? A pancake swirled with cinnamon sugar as well as an amazing cream cheese glaze on the top. Doesn’t get a lot better than that!
I understood my children would certainly go nuts of these. And So I bending the recipe making a large batch. I will freeze some in my boys to allow them to be heated before school. I understand best mother ever! Heres the issue, only 3 built them into within the freezer. These were so amazing my boys couldn’t get enough! Then my boys wanted a bed time snack and heated the remainder. And So I am playing zero. Thats ok though. It provides me a reason to ensure they are again. My boys stated these were the very best factor ever. They especially loved the cream cheese glaze on the top!

- Cinnamon Filling:
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- ¼ cup + two tablespoons packed light brown sugar
- ½ tablespoon ground cinnamon
- Cream Cheese Glaze:
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 2-ounces cream cheese, at 70 degrees
- ¾ cup powdered sugar
- ½ teaspoon vanilla flavoring
- Pancakes: (May also make use of a box)
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 1 cup milk
- 1 large egg, gently beaten
- 1 tablespoon canola or vegetable oil
- To help make the cinnamon filling: Combine brown sugar, melted butter, and cinnamon inside a medium size bowl. Scoop right into a baggie and hang aside.
- For that glaze: In a tiny pan melt the butter over low heat. Whisk together the cream cheese, vanilla and powdered sugar. Take from the heat and hang aside until available on pancakes.
- To help make the pancakes: Combine flour, baking powder and salt. Whisk together the milk, egg, and oil.
- Heat skillet to medium low. Once preheated, spray with non-stick spray. Add about ½ cup from the batter towards the skillet. Hold back until bubbles begin to form. Snip a corner of the cinnamon filling, and make up a swirl pattern in the heart of the pancake as pictured above. See notes. Take care not to have it too on the brink. Having a wide metal spatula switch the pancake over and continue cooking for the next 1-2 minutes until golden brown.
- Eliminate the pan every time and repeat using the remaining batter. Warm the glaze as needed and drizzle over pancakes.
* Before while using cinnamon filling mixture to swirl on the top from the pancakes, open the bag and restir to make certain the butter is fully incorporated.
