Tasty grain: I did not have in your own home the pandang leaves, however i used 2 sweet tulsi and three curry leaves istead. I made use of water rather of chicken stock.
The roasted spices get this to grain relly special.
We'd our nasi lemak with my recipe of "Ayam Indonesia With Chicken Legs ".
Good recipe. I could not find any pandan leaves either, however i also used basmati grain. I managed to get with malaysian chicken curry also. Thanks!
As KitchenManiac stated, easy and tasty! I made use of lite coconut milk, although looking back If only I'd used the actual stuff for many extra creaminess (I really like coconut!). Used to do need to omit the pandan leaves when i did not have. I truly enjoyed the touch in the flaked coconut- it gave the grain additional body and flavor. Used to do substitute your spice blend with Small R.'s "Emotional Balance" Spice Mixture (#48156) that has all of the spices suggested inside your recipe along with a couple of extras, which labored wonderfully. Used to do add Zhoug (#57689) instead of pepper flakes. Lovely grain. I have to mention- I chose to make this with brown grain. and so i used 1 1/2 cups grain, 2 cups water and 1 cup coconut milk. Appreciate an attractive unique grain! I'll try to look for pandan leaves making it can soon, the actual authentic way!
