
Sneaky Chef Smart Brownies
Makes about 30 brownies
6 tablespoons unsalted butter
3/4 cup semisweet choc chips 2 large eggs
2 teaspoons pure vanilla flavoring
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup Crimson Puree (see Make-Ahead Recipe #1 )
1/4 cup plus two tablespoons Flour Blend (see Make-Ahead Recipe #13 )
1/4 cup folded oatmeal, ground inside a mixer
1 tablespoon unsweetened cacao powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
Butter or non-stick cooking spray
Optional extra boost: 1 cup chopped walnuts
Preheat the oven to 350 levels.
Butter or spray just the bottom, not the edges, of the 13-by- 9-inch or 9-inch square baking pan.
Melt the butter and choc chips together inside a double boiler or metal bowl over simmering water (or perhaps in a microwave, checking every just a few seconds). Remove from heat and permit mixture to awesome a little. Meanwhile, in another bowl, stir together the eggs, vanilla, sugar, and Crimson Puree. Combine this crimson egg mixture using the cooled chocolate mixture.
Inside a mixing bowl, stir together Flour Blend, cacao powder, oatmeal, and salt. Add this towards the chocolate mixture and blend completely. Add the chopped walnuts, if using, then pour the whole mixture in to the baking pan.
Bake for 30 to 35 minutes, until a toothpick arrives clean. Let it awesome completely in pan before cutting the brownies and employ a plastic or butter knife. Dust with powdered sugar, if preferred.
Keeps for any week within the refrigerator, covered tightly.
