- two tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1 large onion, sliced
- 3/4 teaspoon kosher salt
- Freshly ground pepper
- 8 large eggs
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 cup diced pork
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh herbs, like parsley, thyme, or dill
- 1 cup grated Swiss or cheddar cheese
Directions
Position a rack 8 inches in the broiler and preheat.
Melt the butter inside a medium non-stick skillet over medium heat. Add some onions and season with 1/2 teaspoon salt and a few pepper. Prepare, stirring from time to time, before the onions end up with soft, about fifteen minutes. Meanwhile, whisk the eggs and milk inside a medium bowl using the remaining 1/4 teaspoon salt and a few pepper until smooth. Transfer onions to some bowl to awesome. Reserve the skillet.
Stir the onions, pork, herbs and cheese in to the eggs .
Heat the non-stick skillet. Pour the frittata mixture in to the pan and stir to make certain the fillings are evenly arranged.
