- 1 1/4 lbs ground poultry
- 1 can (15-oz) black beans
- 1/2 cup crushed tortilla chips
- 1 teaspoon The Lady’s House Seasoning
- 1 tablespoons of chili powder
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1/4 cup essential olive oil
- 1 cup prepared salsa
- 1 cup frozen corn kernels, thawed
- 1 avocado
- 1 medium-sized zucchini, julienned
- 1/4 cup essential olive oil (for frying)
- Salt & ground pepper
Directions
Inside a large bowl, combine the poultry, beans, tortilla chips, house seasoning, chili powder, and cumin. Make use of your hands to create the mix into 8 equal-size patties. Heat the essential olive oil inside a large skillet over medium-high temperature. Employed in batches if required, prepare the patties for 4-a few minutes per side, or until no more pink in the centre. Transfer the patties to some paper-towel-lined plate to empty. In a tiny bowl, mix together the salsa, corn, and avocado. Spoon the salsa mixture within the burgers.
