A simple, healthy sauce having a hearty flavor and texture.
- 6 cloves garlic clove, minced
- 1 medium onion, diced
- two tablespoons essential olive oil
- 2 (14.5 oz) cans diced tomato plants
- 1 (14.5 oz) can crushed tomato plants or tomato sauce
- two tablespoons tomato paste
- 1/2 cup dry dark wine
- two tablespoons Italian plant seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon ground pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper (may reduce and sometimes omit at a lower price spice)
- 1 pound ground poultry (breast, leg or mixed)
- fresh chopped Italian parsley or tulsi for garnish (optional)
- grated Mozzarella dairy product to sprinkle on the top (optional)
Coat within slow oven with cooking spray. Put garlic clove, onion and essential olive oil in normal size bowl and microwave 2 minutes at full power, stopping and stirring following the first minute. Add all ingredients to slow oven (without the poultry) and stir to mix. Get started poultry into chunks and increase the sauce. Tap lower the poultry chunks so that they are partly covered within the sauce, but don't stir or split up the poultry chunks. Cover, and prepare on low for six-7 hrs.
